Pre-Class Homework: Students should bring a completed swatch (in the round) using project yarn & needles to the first class session.  Directions: CO 50 stitches, join to work in the round, P 2 rounds, K 6 rounds, P 2 rounds, BO.

Notes: Please bring 1 skein sock yarn and preferred needles in US size 1 or 2.  Sock specific yarn is needed for this class - lighter colors are easier to see! Sock yarn is typically a durable, fine weight yarn (labeled fingering or sock) blended with either nylon or polyamide for durability and elasticity.  Fingering/sock yarn usually comes in 100g skeins which is enough for 1 average sized pair or 2 pairs of shortie socks.

Prerequisites: Knit 103/Knit Series – or, students must be comfortable both knitting and purling as well as have some experience working in the round. This class is designed for intermediate level knitters with prior experience.
