In this 3-class knit series, students will learn core skills while crafting multiple projects.
Class 1 (meets 10/3): slip knots, casting on, knit stitch, binding off, etc. Project options - Fingerless Mittens or e-Reader/Tablet/Book pouch
Class 2 (meets 10/10): purl stitch, adding yarn, finishing, seaming, fiber notes, etc. Project options - Scarf, Cowl, or Mini Bag
Class 3 (meets 10/17): TINKing/un-knitting (working backwards to fix mistakes), long tail cast on, working in the round, increases, decreases, etc. Project options - Beanie Hat or Sampler Cowl
Audience: Adults, ages 12+
Level: Beginner
Cost: $130, all supplies included
Details: 1-3:30p, Saturdays, Oct. 3, 10, & 17
Note: This series includes everything covered in the Knit 101, Knit 102, & Knit 103 classes. There is assigned homework that requires time outside of class to complete. If you are not able to commit to attending all 3 classes and an additional 1-2 hours of practice time between classes for homework, the Knit 101 standalone class may be a better fit for you. Missed classes are NOT able to be rescheduled.
Prerequisites: This class is designed for beginners with no prior experience.
